On July 16, at the EY Headquarters in Milan, the third edition of EY Business Game Competition Ed.2015.
“EY Business Game 2015” is a Business Game Competition organized by EY in all Italian universities, for students enrolled in degree courses in Economics or Engineering, (students following a 3 year program or a 5 year program).
The goal of the Competition is to stimulate creativity, to encourage, and to give opportunities to train young talents.
The 200 top teams that took part at the Skillgame participated in the Food & Wine Business Game, a management simulation game in which 1,2, ... n team/companies compete with the aim of becoming the market leader and increasing the value of its holding. The 200 teams were divided into 10 rounds of business games which were held simultaneously.
The best teams (the winners of the 10-rounds Food & Wine Business Game) competed in the third and final phase, Contest Ideas. The ten winning teams of the Business Game Competition had the opportunity to present their ideas / project to leading figures during the final day, organized by EY, and guided by an EY mentor during the development process.
The top 10 teams of EY Business Game finalist, were driven in the competition by talent, innovation, by a vision of the future, the passion for ecosustainability. The winning teams of the ten universities involved, had the chance to demonstrate their abilities in front of a prestigious jury. The Contest Ideas phase required the winning teams from each Business Game (10 in total) to present in a concise, clear and effective way (through the elevator pitch methodology) an idea/project in agribusiness context.
The jury awarded a three month internship at EY headquarters in Milan to the team from the University of Bologna, founded by Andrea Casto, Giulio Alessandro Natale, Marco Morselli who presented the idea "Teamballo". In second place was the SharEat team, in third place Foodie team, to both winners were given tickets to visit Expo 2015.
